In the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections for Kashmir's Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, nearly 52 per cent of the 18.36 lakh eligible voters cast their votes.

Segments recording the highest turnout were, Surankot (ST) – 62.65 per cent, Poonch Haveli – 64.19 per cent, Mendhar – 64.69 per cent, Thanna Mandi (ST) – 65.34 per cent, Nowshera – 65.47 per cent and Rajouri (ST) – 66.09 per cent.

The Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency has recorded an 8.98 per cent voter turnout at all polling stations by 9:00 am, as communicated by the Chief Election Officer of J&K.

Over 26k KP voters to vote at 34 special stations
"Over 26,000 Kashmiri migrant voters will cast their ballots at special polling stations set up in Jammu, Udhampur and Delhi tomorrow. All arrangements have been made for free and fair polling tomorrow," Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Dr Arvind Karwani told reporters.
