Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here today, Chairman of the Ex-Servicemen Department in the AICC Col (Retd) Rohit Chaudhary and Wing Commander (Retd) Anuma Acharya demanded that the government should bring in a white paper about the Agnipath scheme.

The Congress spokesperson quoted certain reports in public domain that the government was considering to increase the service tenure of the Agniveers from four to seven years besides increasing the retention from 25 to 60-70 percent.

"Our youths cannot be allowed to suffer in this manner. I appeal to you to ensure that NYAY and justice is done," Kharge wrote to the President.
