Adani Green Energy CEO Amit Singh stated, "Adani Green is well on track to achieve its 2030 capacity target of 50 GW, including at least 5 GW energy storage, in the form of pumped hydro, with sites already secured and clear visibility on evacuation".

India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) on Thursday upgraded Adani Green Energy Limited’s (AGEL) long-term issuer rating to ‘IND AA-’ from ‘IND A+’, saying the company’s outlook is stable.

"At the Khavda project, touted as the world’s largest renewable energy park, the capacity is projected to reach 6 GW by the end of the current fiscal year" Adani Green’s managing director, Vneet Jaain said.

Adani aspires to be the world's largest renewable energy producer by 2030 while Reliance is building four gigafactories at Jamnagar in Gujarat -- one each for solar panels, batteries, green hydrogen, and fuel cells.

With the successful commissioning of this plant, AGEL's operational solar portfolio has increased to 6,243 MW, and the total operational renewable generation capacity to 9,784 MW, the largest in India, the statement added.

Under the MoU, the two entities will work towards deploying e-mobility solutions that offer seamless access to charging infrastructure, covering aspects such as discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions.

   Notably, the conglomerate's ambitious plan includes the development of the world's largest renewable park in Gujarat, covering an expansive area of over 530 square kilometers. In addition, with a portfolio boasting 8 airports, including the upcoming Navi Mumbai airport, and 14 domestic ports, Adani is positioned to solidify its position as a key player in these critical sectors vital for India's economic growth and connectivity.

According to the company's statement, the 300 MW wind project is expected to generate approximately 1,091 million electricity units annually, contributing significantly to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. AGEL estimates that the project will help avoid approximately 0.8 million tons of CO2 emissions annually, underlining its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
