Congress had won 4 out of 6 assembly by-polls, while the BJP won two seats.

"Joining the Congress was a mistake but 'subah ka bhula agar sham ko ghar aa jaye to use bhula nahi kehtey' (It is never too late to mend)," Indu said.

Advocate General Anoop Rattan on Monday said that the High Court has extended the interim bail till April 26 and asked them to join the investigations and appear before the investigation officer whenever called. 

Lok Sabha polls in Himachal are to be held in the 7th and last phase on June 1, which however gives time to Congress to work out a better strategy.

The petition claims that the principle of natural justice was violated, asserting they were not given sufficient opportunity to respond to the disqualification petition.

The Supreme Court has scheduled March 18 as the date for hearing the plea filed by six rebel Congress MLAs from Himachal Pradesh challenging the decision of the Assembly Speaker to disqualify them.
