Speaking during a debate on the demands for grants for the Union Ministry of Fishing, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy in the Lok Sabha, the Srinagar MP referred to the abrogation as a “kala karnama" (black deed).

Jammu and Kashmir has seen a dramatic decline in stone pelting, strikes, and terror incidents since the 2019 abrogation of Article 370. The region reported a 69% drop in terror incidents and a 67% decrease in related deaths, according to data shared by the Union Home Ministry on Monday.
