Rain brings relief from humidity in Punjab, Haryana

Punjab, Haryana, on Thursday, witnessed rains, bringing relief from humid conditions in the parts of the states. 

 

Pathankot in Punjab received 16 mm rainfall, followed by Patiala at 6 mm, Bathinda at 8 mm, Sangrur at 4 mm, and Mohali at 2 mm, the Met office said.

 

Rohtak in Haryana recorded 21 mm rainfall, followed by Bhiwani at 16 mm, Narnaul at 13 mm, Jind at 9 mm, Panchkula at 7 mm, Hisar at 1.5 mm, and Ambala at 0.2 mm.

 

Chandigarh, the common capital of the two states, received 2 mm of rainfall.
