President returns to Delhi, given warm send off in Shimla

President of India Droupadi Murmu was given a warm send-off today at Kalyani Helipad in Mashobra after her five-day sojourn in Himachal Pradesh.

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu were present on the occasion.

 

Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, DGP Dr Atul Verma and other senior civil, police and army officers were also present amongst others.

During her visit, President Murmu graced the occasion of the Convocation ceremony at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh as the Chief guest.

 

President Murmu took a walk along the Mall road in Shimla and interacted with locals.

 

During her visit, Murmu promoted regional businesses and purchased local articles via digital payments.
