In a heartwarming incident, a 42-year-old woman in Thane, Maharashtra, successfully delivered a baby boy on Monday at a local hospital, aligning the special occasion with the consecration of the new Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya temple.
The expectant mother, identified as Samrudhi Bamane, an educated IT professional, had specifically requested a 'muhurat delivery,' prompting doctors at Male Hospital in Thane to advance her scheduled delivery date by a day.
Dr. Chandrakant Barure, who oversaw the planned caesarean delivery, shared that the woman had not undergone in vitro fertilization (IVF) but had conceived naturally.
The auspicious moment unfolded at 12:30 pm at the hospital in Naupada area, bringing joy to the family. Both mother and baby are reported to be in good health.
The choice to synchronize the delivery with the consecration of the Ram idol at Ayodhya reflects a widespread trend across the country.
