A Charity exhibition match has brought Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz again facing each other ahead of the US Open, which is scheduled to start on August 26, 2024.
A week before the tennis mayhem begins in the USA on August 21, the cherished rival pair will be seen in a doubles match, where Djokovic will pair with legend John McEnroe and Alcaraz will join forces with Andre Agassi.
Although, this time in a more relaxed setting.
Earlier, they both were seen clashing with one another in high stakes in the Paris Olympics, where Djokovic emerged as the winner, as he clinched the gold medal.
This time, the match intends to create a nostalgic vibe all around the court where generational talents will be playing and contributing a proportion of ticket sales to the USTA foundation, which will contribute to Tennis organisations all around the USA.
For Djokovic, his career golden slam was completed in the Olympics, this Grand Slam will be the 25th title that he will be competing in to win.
On the other hand, the prodigy, Alcaraz also had a great year after winning the French Open and Wimbledon titles, he grabbed Silver in the Olympics.
According to reports, despite their competitive rivalry this time the pair will focus on giving it back to the sport while keeping the game between them on a lighter note.
