PM Modi in Rewari assures commitment, government support to farmers

Acknowledging the current concerns of farmers, PM Modi visit to Rewari on Friday emphasised the government's unwavering commitment to their welfare.

 

While details of specific initiatives weren't disclosed, his statement aimed to provide reassurance amidst ongoing discussions and apprehensions surrounding agricultural policies.

 

Despite the farmer-centric undercurrent, the visit primarily highlighted the government's agenda for infrastructure development and improved public services. 

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's  was marked by the inauguration of several development projects worth over Rs 9,770 crore, including the foundation stone laying for a new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

 

The new AIIMS is expected to significantly enhance healthcare access in the region, while other projects targeted urban transport, health, railways, and tourism sectors.
