The female CISF personnel who slapped Actor turned Politician Kangana Ranaut yesterday, at Chandigarh airport was arrested today, followed by a suspension.
A police case has been registered against Kulwinder Kaur. The altercation occurred while the actor was en route to board a flight to Delhi. According to paramilitary security personnel, the constable's actions were provoked by a previous statement made by Ranaut for the farmers.
Kaur is the sister of Farmer leader Sher Singh Mahiwal. Speaking to the media, Mahiwal claimed the altercation occurred due to a security check, adding that he stands by his sister and that the family is ready for any action against Kaur.
Meanwhile, Ranaut released her video on social media, citing her side of the incident, alleging the CISF personnel slapped her without provocation.
The video of the incident went viral within a short span.
