The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) continued its survey of the Bhojshala/Kamal Maula Mosque complex in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district for the third consecutive day on Sunday.

Abdul Samad, President of the Kamal Maula Mosque Welfare Society, said that he had submitted objections to the ASI via email on Saturday. He stressed that their objection was against the inclusion of objects placed inside Bhojshala after 2003 in the survey.

Samad expressed concerns about the ASI teams working simultaneously in three different areas within the complex, suggesting that they should focus on one location.

Accompanied by senior police and local administration officials, an ASI team reached the disputed complex on Sunday morning. Petitioners from the Hindu side also arrived at the Bhojshala complex.

Heavy police security was deployed at the site to maintain peace and order.

The survey was initiated on Friday following a Madhya Pradesh High Court directive. The court had ordered the ASI to conduct a scientific survey of the Bhojshala complex within six weeks.

According to an ASI order issued on April 7, 2003, Hindus are permitted to worship inside the Bhojshala complex every Tuesday, while Muslims can offer namaz at the site on Fridays.
