A winter wonderland:  Visuals from Patnitop hill station of Jammu and Kashmir that received fresh snowfall this week after a prolonged dry spell that persisted even in the coldest period of the year, called Chillai-Kalan in the Kashmiri language. IMD forecasts heavier snowfall for the upcoming weeks, providing relief from the draught-like conditions and boosting the tourist inflow into the UT.
